What is the PLASA Show?

PLASA Show, now 38 years old, is the annual exhibition that connects the international live entertainment technology industry and ranks as one of the premier shows of its kind. It presents ground breaking technology and exciting new launches by the world's greatest designers and engineers to an international audience of pro audio, lighting, broadcast, AV and stage technology experts.

Featuring focused hubs for networking and product demos on the show floor for audio, broadcast, lighting, AV and staging each with its own sector specific seminar stream this is a show not to be missed.

PLASA Show is owned and organised by PLASA, the leading international trade association for entertainment technologies.

Visitors from 101 different countries, with a combined purchasing power of more than £3bn are descending on ExCeL London, as PLASA is almost half way through its 2015 event.

The audio and entertainment lighting show opened yesterday (4 October) with over 300 brands showcasing their products and services, including A.C. Entertainment, Autograph, d&b Audiotechnik, FACE, FBT UK, Flare Audio, POLARaudio and Ten 47.

Show director Christopher Toulmin said the show already has a real energy to it.

“A key part of PLASA Show 2015 is always the Professional Development Programme seminars. These offer an unrivalled educational resource and cover a huge variety of highly informative topics, addressing subjects for everyone from the most experienced practitioners, through to those just starting in the industry.

“We’re looking forward to a successful three days.”

Part of the new programme this year is PLASA’s sector specific seminar offering, which sees an increase from two to five theatres. The show has also adopted a ‘Focus’ model of a sector-specific, zoned layout, allowing both visitors and exhibitors easier networking and navigation.

Other highlights of the show include stands from SES Entertainment, PSCo, TMB, Neutrik, Dataton, d3 Technologies, RC4 Wireless and SLG, said the organiser.
